How we build it
Six building blocks for visibility that all stay with you.
Customers and applicants now find a business through search, the map and AI answers. To cover all three, we build six parts that work together, on your domain and in your name. We are done when you could carry on without us.
Live seven days after you sign off text and images.
01 The blueprint
Six layers, resting on the handover.
At the top is what a customer sees. Below it is what Google, the map and AI systems read about you. The foundation is the handover, and without it everything above would be rented.
- 01 Layer 1 of 6
Your site
The website a customer opens on their phone. It answers what they want to know before they call: services, prices or a price range, how to get there and when you are open. If your site is already there and does its job, we build on it.

- Who reads it
- Customers and applicants, plus Google and ChatGPT

- 02 Layer 2 of 6
The layer underneath
Beneath the visible text, the same content is written out a second time for machines. It states which service you offer where, at what times, and which role is open at what salary. Google reads your details from it without having to guess.
Roles marked up this way appear in the jobs box. Google itself writes that AI answers do not require the markup. Google Search Central, “JobPosting” documentation (as of 08/09/2026) and guide to AI features in Search (as of 10/07/2026)

Your presence on the map
Anyone looking for a business nearby often sees the map first and compares two or three entries there. We keep your Google profile complete, with category, services, hours, photos and reviews.

Content that gets quoted
An AI names two or three businesses and quotes whole sentences from their pages. We write down the questions people ask you on the phone and answer them with your details. What does it cost, how long does it take, are you open on Saturdays?

Open roles
Every open role goes on your careers page with what applicants ask about: pay, working hours, place of work. It gets the markup that lets it appear in the jobs box on Google, with no ad budget. You add the next role yourself.

The handover
From the start we set up the domain, Google profile and accounts in your business’s name. You get logins, source code, profiles and data in writing. With that you could carry on without us tomorrow.
- Who reads it
- You, and anyone who works on the site after us
- What you own
- All of it
02 What you own
Everything is in your name. If you cancel, you take it with you.
We set up the domain, Google profile and all accounts in your name. It says so in clause 7.6 of our terms. Once the build is paid for, the site is yours. If the care plan ends, we hand it over to you.
| Building block | In the name of | If you cancel the care plan |
|---|---|---|
| 01 Your site | Your business | We hand over the site and source code – to you or to whoever looks after it next. |
| 02 The layer underneath | Your business | It sits in the source code of your site and moves with it. |
| 03 Your presence on the map | Your business | The profile stays in your account, reviews included. |
| 04 Content that gets quoted | Your business | Texts, images and answers stay yours. |
| 05 Open roles | Your business | The careers page and its roles move with the site. |
| 06 The handover | Your business | You already hold every login. |
| For comparison A website on a rental plan | the provider | When the subscription ends, the site is gone. |
Cancelling ends hosting, upkeep and measurement. We hand the site over with domain, source code and all logins – to you or to whoever looks after it next.
03 What we live on
You pay for the build and the care plan. Staying with us is up to you.
If everything belongs to you, it is fair to ask what we live on. The money comes from the build, which you pay for once, and from the care plan, which you can cancel monthly. Visibility does not hold by itself. Competitors catch up, search systems change their answers, and your own hours, services and open roles change too. The care plan keeps up with that every month.
Our promise
If nothing moves within eight weeks of going live, we keep working without the monthly fee until it does.
What you pay
- Build paid once
- The amount depends on what you already have in place. You get the figure on the strategy call
- Care plan cancel monthly

What owners ask us before they start.
-
01 What exactly is ours afterwards?
Everything that gets built, once the build is paid for: domain and website with source code and access, your Google Business Profile, your reviews, your content, your data. Cancel us tomorrow and we hand all of it over – to you or to whoever looks after it next. It just stops being maintained and measured by us. -
02 Are we tied to you afterwards?
No. There is no platform you rent and no access we could switch off. We stay as long as the upkeep pays off, not because you have to keep us. -
03 If everything is ours, what do you live on?
On the build and the ongoing upkeep. Visibility is not a state you create once: competitors catch up, systems change their answers, content ages. Leave it for a year and you fall behind. That is exactly why our interest is the same as yours – we earn from it continuing to work, not from you staying dependent. -
04 We already have a website. Does it have to go?
Not necessarily. Often the site is fine in design terms and what is missing is exactly the layer underneath that search engines and AI systems read. Then we add to it instead of rebuilding, and the build gets cheaper. If the foundation does not hold, we say so clearly and weigh both routes against each other. -
05 Do you guarantee we will be at the top on Google or ChatGPT?
Not a specific position. Anyone promising that is selling a bet as a certainty – no provider controls what Google ranks or which names an AI system gives. What we do commit to: we measure every month, in search and in AI answers. If nothing moves within eight weeks of going live, we keep working without the monthly fee until it does. -
06 How do you measure without it becoming arbitrary?
With the same questions to the same systems, every month, and every figure as a median across several runs. That matters: a single query gives heavily fluctuating results for local searches and even more so for AI answers – in our own measurement, nine out of ten questions we put to ChatGPT on two consecutive days came back with different sources on the second day. Whoever sells you a single measurement as a success is showing you noise. -
07 How long until something happens?
The site goes live seven days after you sign off text and images. We usually see first movement in search and first mentions in AI answers after four to eight weeks. If you need something faster, paid advertising serves you better – and we say so on the strategy call. -
08 We need someone right now. Does this help?
Not for the role this week. For that there is our sister brand Blacklyne Recruiting with a placement sprint through paid campaigns – it works in days. What we build here takes weeks to work – but then it does not stop. Many businesses need both, in that order.
Questions on the market, territory protection and how we differ are answered in full on the questions page.
Three businesses rank ahead of you. None of them does better work.
Anyone searching in your town sees a handful of names. If yours is not among them, the job is gone before you hear about it. On the call we tell you why.
What happens on the call
- Beforehand we check where you stand on Google and on the map, who gets named in your town instead, and what someone searching actually finds answered on your site.
- On the call we go through it together – on your site, not on slides. You see which enquiries are passing you by today, and why.
- At the end you have what needs doing, in what order, and what it costs. If it does not add up for you, we say so – that happens.
